Food was delicious. Nice atmosphere, great service. Old time Italian restaurant in the best sense of that phrase. Very comfortable. Expansive menu, not surprisingly expensive. Willing to make whatever tweaks to the preparation that suit your requirements.

This place in Libertyville is great! The food is so tasty. We went last weekend to celebrate two birthdays (simultaneously) and were pleasantly surprised. I had the chicken and pasta with alla vodka sauce and it had so much taste to it! We will definitely be returning.

6 of us went to Bottaio this past Saturday evening. One of the couples frequently dines here. (One of their very fav's). It had been several years since i have eaten at Bottaio even tho I live nearby. When I discovered they serve veal Parmesan, I was very enthusiastic. Some of the best Italian food that I have ever had. Have eaten here several times - always fantastic. Had the Osso Bucco (veal shank) on Saturday night - amazing! Wonderfully seasoned and prepared. Would recommend this place to anyone!

I recently ordered food for a group I was entertaining and it was excellent; our friends really enjoyed dinner and wondered where it was from. We dined on the chicken parmigiani, angel hair pasta, veal picatta and ceasar salad. It was all perfect!
